Pearl River Man Caught By Owner Taking Wallet From Car, Police Say PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- A Pearl River man has been charged in the theft of a wallet from inside a car, according to Orangetown Police.Christopher Torralbas, 24, is accused of entering an unlocked vehicle Thursday evening at 6:41 p.m., on Walter Street in Pearl River and removing two credit cards from a wallet inside it, police said. When the vehicle's owner approached it, he saw the suspect near the vehicle and observed him throw the wallet on the ground, according to police.
