Tuckahoe Seniors Savor New York Excursions
TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- Seniors from Tuckahoe took trips to upstate New York and Manhattan recently.The local residents of The Fountains at RiverVue took the Circle Line tour of Manhattan, while the second trip was a day spent in Washingtonville. A tour of Brotherhood Winery was included.
The trips were escorted by Christine Nazzaro, community life director.
“I had never visited Brotherhood Winery before, and I really enjoyed (it)," said Estelle Brocks.

Halloween Spooktacular Draws 2,000 To Yonkers Shopping Center
YONKERS, N.Y. -- A hefty turnout, over 2,000 local families, attended a Halloween "Spooktacular" event Saturday at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers.Along with trick-or-treating stations, the costumed guests got to enjoy arts and crafts area, a coloring station, fortuneteller with palm readings, an inflatable corn maze for kids, storytelling and strolling entertainers.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- People living in small cities and towns like that they get more land, commute shorter distances and have closer ties in terms of network, according to a WalletHub.In its "2016's Best Small Cities in America" report, WebHub analysts took a look at 1,268 cities whose with populations fall between 25,000 and 100,000, at 30 key "indicators of livability."
The factors included "housing costs," "school-system quality" and "number of restaurants per capita," the report said.
