J. -- For their first training session of the year on Monday, Oradell firefighters mixed it up a little bit by playing a Jeopardy-style quiz game to test firefighting knowledge.Using online training resources, firefighters put together questions on a game board similar to what's used on the popular TV show "Jeopardy." They broke into three teams, and like the show, points were added or taken away depending on the answer. They even played Daily Double and Final Jeopardy. Fruit Sale Supports Ridgewood High School Band Program RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood High School band members are planning to go to every door in town this Sunday during the annual Blitz Day to sell fruit to support the band program.Though the big push is Jan. 10, fruit orders can be taken through Jan. 29. On sale are California navel oranges, red grapefruit and a citrus sample, which is a combination of both. A mixed box of apples and pears also is available.
