Joseph Lopez lost one hand and part of another in the explosion, the Post said. Officers arriving at the home on Maplewood Avenue found broken windows and blood throughout the kitchen, the Post reported. Reynolds after he celebrated his last Mass on Sunday before retirement. Reynolds, a monsignor, is retiring after 30 years of service. J. -- Silvestro Pinelli Jr., known as “Junie,” a longtime Saddle Brook resident and retired Port Authority police officer, died Dec. 29. He was 79.Pinelli was born in Jersey City to the late Pauline and Silvestro Pinelli and raised in North Bergen. He lived in Saddle Brook for 51 years and was a parishioner at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. A U.S. Army veteran, he served from 1956-59 as a paratrooper for the 101st Airborne Division.
