'Mr. Brewster' Event Raises $27K For Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
BREWSTER, N. Y. -- The all-male Mr. Brewster pageant featuring 14 seniors raised a whopping $27,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and drew more than 500 spectators to Brewster High School.The March 4 event, hosted by the school's SALTY Hands Club, featured performances from contestants, and judging in four categories: formal wear, questions, hidden talent and group dance. The winner was chosen by combination of performance plus how much money they raised.

YORKTOWN, N. Y. -- A 21-year-old Yorktown Heights man and a Yorktown teen are facing drug charges, including impaired driving, after New York State Police stopped the car they were driving Monday on State Route 6 in Yorktown for a loud exhaust, police said.

SOUTHEAST, N. Y. -- A 24-year-old Pound Ridge man is facing felony drug charges after New York State Police stopped the car he was driving on Route 22 in Southeast for a loud exhaust on Thursday, March 3, police said.
