Long Island's own Billy Joel helped with the cleanup of beaches in Oyster Bay earlier this month, said a Page Six article. Joel reportedly lives in Oyster Bay. According to Page Six, Joseph Saladino, the town supervisor confirmed the singer took part in the April 13 beach cleanup. Saladino is quoted in the article. Artists are invited to submit their works of art to the popular annual downtown New Canaan Art in the Windows exhibit that represent the theme of True Colors. Suspects On Loose After 16-Year-Old Stabbed In Huntington Station
Suffolk County Police detectives are on the lookout for three men who allegedly were involved in the stabbing of a teenager late Sunday, Apirl 21 in Huntington Station. A 16-year-old male was walking on Depot Road at 1st Avenue when he was reportedly confronted by three males on bicycles at approximately 10:40 p.m., Suffolk County Police said. Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery At Subway Restaurant In Setauket
Police are investigating an armed robbery of a sandwich shop in Setauket. Suffolk County Police say a man with a gun entered the Subway at 18 Woods Corner Road and demanded cash from an employee at approximately 7:15 p.m. Monday evening, April 15.
