Ellen "Bunny" Ericsson who was the organist at Noroton Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years died May 18. A memorial service is set for Monday, June 17 at the church in Darien.
Music was Ericsson's life and she is being remembered as someone who "touched countless lives with her gifts, talent, generosity, and encouragement."

Bernard Marsh, a career actor, director and choreographer who fought for racial equity on Broadway and later founded a theater group on Long Island died Monday, June 9 in Brooklyn. He was 77.
Marsh who leaves behind many family members, friends and theater colleagues is being remembered as "a credit to his chosen profession, a star in his universe, a defender of the rights of his peers."
Most recently in semi-retirement Marsh taught and directed, first at 966 in Brooklyn, then at the African American Museum of Nassau County, he founded the Living History Theater Group.

Richard Pordon, 88, Of Northport, Air Force Vet, Great South Bay Fisherman
A United States Air Force veteran from Northport who loved fishing in the Great South Bay Richard J.P. Pordon died Tuesday, May 28 at age 88.
Pordon is being remembered as "hardworking, kind and caring" and a "stalwart steward" of planet earth "and "especially his favorite fishing waters, the Great South Bay." He was the husband of the late Wilma and father of Simone (Richard) Monahan, Richard (Mark) Pordon and Gabrielle (Robert) Glick; grandfather of "Peeps" Sachiko (Adam) Becker, Abigail, Samuel, and Emily Glick, Leo and Stella Becker.
