Westchester Native Jason Caragine, Mahopac Business Owner, Dies At 47
An area business owner died Sunday, June 16 at 47.
Jason Grotsky Caragine lived in Mahopac and was the owner and lead garage door technician of Door Doctor in Mahopac.
Caragine was born in Yonkers on Sept. 27, 1971, the son of Louisa Deltreste and David Grotsky. He graduated from Gorton High School in Yonkers.
Caragine was a classic car enthusiast, loved spending time with his sons and granddaughter, and enjoyed sharing his mechanical knowledge with his children and their friends.

Man, 21, Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree In Brentwood
A 21-year-old man was killed after crashing his car into a tree on Washington Avenue just north of Flick Place in Brentwood, police said.
Jonathan Cifuentes was reportedly driving a 2001 Nissan Altima southbound on Washington Avenue when his vehicle crossed over the northbound lane and struck a tree on the east side of the street, approximately 15 feet north of Flick Place, at approximately 5:25 a.m. Thursday, June 20, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Daniel Eric Kendrick was born and raised in Port Charlotte, Florida, on August 19, 1989, to Doreen Johnson Panyard and Kenneth Wilson.
