Loretta Lambert, Former Greenwich Academy Teacher, Dies A former Greenwich resident who taught at Greenwich Academy for 25 years has died. Loretta "Lorry" Margaret Riley Lambert died in White River Junction, Vermont, on Tuesday, June 4.  She was born in Jackson, Michigan, on May 4, 1931. A graduate of St. Mary's High School in Jackson she received an AB from St. Mary's College, South Bend, Indiana, in 1953. While attending college in South Bend, she met John "Jack" F. Christopher Anthony Sharkey died of natural causes in Denver at the age of 53.  He was the son of Bernadette (McDermott) Sharkey and the late Laurence J. Man Found Murdered In Dix Hills, Police Say An elderly man believed to have been murdered in his Dix Hills home Tuesday evening, June 11, according to Suffolk County Police. The man, 74, who was found dead in his residence at 22 Penn Drive in Dix Hills at approximately 6:15 p.m. The man, Armindo Reis, lived alone in the residence, according to police.
