Salem Golf Club Breaks Ground On Pool, Fitness Facility NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Players will find respite next summer after rounding out 18 holes on sizzling days at Salem Golf Club. Construction on a new pool and pool house began this month at the private club in North Salem. The new building will house men’s and women’s locker rooms, a teaching and golf simulator room, and a children’s activity room. A halfway house, outdoor bar and patio for member dining also are planned.   The new facilities are expected to open late spring 2017.
