Orangeburg Road Bridge Work Forces Detour Of Trail Project, Too
ORANGETOWN, N. J. -- Not only are motorists feeling the pinch from the Orangeburg Road bridge construction project, walkers and cyclists will notice it, too, according to lohud.com.
The $14-million bridge project, which started in March, is closing two lanes on Orangeburg Road and also closing a portion of the walking and cycling trail underneath the bridge. That walking trail is currently being renovated as well, lohud.com says.
The bridge is a link between Route 303 and Western Highway, and runs over the CSX freight train tracks. Trains will continute to run, but the portion of the trail …
