Bronxville, Somers High Boys Teams Mix It Up In Lacrosse Thriller SOMERS, N.Y. - Two of the better teams in the section locked horns Saturday, as the Bronxville High boys lacrosse team took on Somers in a game played at Somers High School. It was the Tuskers who played well, and pulled out a 7-4 victory behind Graham Roediger, Andrew Lowman and Joe Hashmall, each with two goals in the win. Somers improved to 6-4 with the win. Ara Atayan picked up two goals for the Broncos, who fell to 5-5. McKinley School Carnival Takes Off At Fairfield's Jennings Beach FAIRFIELD, Conn. — As the annual McKinley School Carnival made its return to Jennings Beach in Fairfield, the rain stayed away for at least the start of Friday night's fun. The carnival fun will continue from 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Jennings Beach. The carnival offers traditional rides suitable for toddlers to adults, among many other attractions. It is all part of the PTA’s ongoing partnership with Stewart Amusements. Knights fifth-year Manager Ernie Richardson said he's hoping to get the team on the right track, though it will be a building process.
