Norwalk's Marvin School Celebrates Arbor Day With Tree Planting NORWALK, Conn. — Students at the Marvin School in Norwalk celebrated Arbor Day last Friday afternoon in conjunction with the Norwalk Tree Alliance and the DoubleTree Hotel. Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, DEEP's Chris Donnelly, Dan Landau of the Norwalk Tree Alliance, and Troy Bennett of the DoubleTree Hotel all joined Marvin School Principal Sue O'Shea, and spoke briefly to the children. It was Pearl River starter Emily Turilli who controlled the game, posting a one-hit shutout as the Pirates claimed a 2-0 victory. Turilli struck out six.
