New Leader Appointed For Links Academy Campus In Stamford GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Education Group has appointed Andrea MacGilpin as the new director of its Links Academy One-to-One Learning (LINKS). Columbus Elementary Pupils Learn Benefits Of Being 'Warm And Fuzzy' MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Doing nice things for others is becoming a way of life for students at Mount Pleasant's Columbus Elementary School since the "Warm Fuzzies" showed up. These soft, fuzzy puffs of color have been introduced by new elementary guidance counselor Connie Cotrone to promote kindness and compassion and to make the children more aware of their actions. Woman's Club Jazz Event Benefits CV Rich Mansion In White Plains WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Woman’s Club of White Plains recently ended its fundraising season with an inaugural “Jazz for the Gardens” featuring Glenda Davenport and the Hiroshi Trio. Nearly 100 people attended this first-ever event at the CV Rich Mansion in White Plains, home to the Woman’s Club for nearly 60 years. The event featured hot and cold hors d'oeuvres from Caperbury Catering as well as sumptuous desserts.
