On Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Cass Gilbert Carriage Barn at the Keeler Tavern Museum in Ridgefield will turn into a speakeasy from the 1920s.There will be costumes, music and food of the times. While there is no fee for admission, a password and photo ID will be required to gain access to the building and its cash bar.  Click here to get your password and ID for this event, which will include all sorts of surprises. Sleepy Hollow Resident Celebrates 100th Birthday SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Miriam Frandsen, a longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow, celebrated her 100th Birthday Wednesday, Oct. 7. Frandsen was a graduate of Skidmore College. She loved horses and rode at Skidmore before they had an equestrian team. Her husband owned the Buick-Cadillac Auto Dealership, McCall-Frandse in Sleepy Hollow, which was at 358 North Broadway where a brick multi-use building now stands. Frandsen and her husband were both Rotarians. Rotary Club members made a visit to Miriam to celebrate her birthday.

They were given playing cards, of which they had to turn over two and perform the indicated operation. The mathematical operations changed with each round.
