United Bank is a chartered bank headquartered in Glastonbury with more than 50 branch locations across Massachusetts and Connecticut. It is looking to expand to lower Fairfield County.  It offers commercial lending, investments, commercial money management and residential lending. United Bank currently has $5.7 billion in assets and recently merged with Rockville Bank.
