Maywood Council Approves Grant For Oak Avenue Improvements MAYWOOD, N.J. -- The Maywood Council has approved a grant application for funds that will go toward improvements on Oak Avenue, reports North Jersey.com.The council passed a resolution on Sept. 29, approving the submittal of a grant application to the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) for paving a section of Oak Avenue from West Pleasant Avenue to Parkway, the story says. To reduce cost, Mayor Adrian Febre said that the road would be paved in sections, similar to how paving has been done on Spring Valley Road. Click here to read the full story.
