Croton Announces Change In Polling Site CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Board of Elections has announced a change in the polling site for Districts 6 and 8 in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson for this year only.  The Grand Street Firehouse will not be used as a polling place for this year’s Nov. 3 election. On Election Day next Tuesday, if you normally vote at the Chemical Engine Fire House at Grand Street, this year the location will be at Croton-Harmon High School at 36 Old Post Road South. Man Who Hit Taconic Parkway Guardrail Faces Drug Charges YORKTOWN, N.Y. – On Tuesday, New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested 31-year-old Ryan M. Schuka, of Cortlandt Manor, for driving while ability impaired by drugs, a Class D Felony. Troopers were dispatched to assist a disabled vehicle located on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Yorktown. Upon the troopers arrival, they observed a vehicle off of the roadway and in a wooded area, police said.
