Saddle Brook Senior Center Schedules 'Chicken Bingo' SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- The Saddle Brook Senior Center is hosting "Chicken Bingo" Sunday, Feb. 28.The cost of $12 includes lunch, coffee, dessert and bingo boards. “Specials” can be purchased separately. Tarrytown Music Hall Goes Solar TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A solar panel array at the Tarrytown Music Hall, made possible by a $50,000 grant from the Green Mountain Energy Sun Club, went online Dec. 6 and will cut the venue's annual energy consumption by 27 percent. The Tarrytown Music Hall is Westchester’s only solar-powered music venue. The solar panels  followed the venue's recently completed structural improvement projects, where $1.5 million was raised and invested in new foundation walls, newly installed drainage, a new roof and roof repairs, new gutters, new exit doors, and a paved parking lot.

Fordham Students Assist Habitat For Humanity In Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. -- Students from Fordham University assisted Habitat For Humanity on Saturday by helping to build a house on High Street in Yonkers.Habitat for Humanity of Westchester is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, the not-for-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry founded by Millard and Linda Fuller in 1976. Habitat of Westchester is an organization of thousands of volunteers who seek to eliminate poverty and homelessness throughout Westchester County, and to make decent, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and public action.
