Shelton's Bravest Preparing To Host Kid-Friendly Fest SHELTON, Conn. -- Echo Hose Hook And Ladder Co. 1 in Shelton is inviting vendors and volunteers to take part in its Fall Festival in October.The family-friendly fun will feature raffle prizes, a photo booth, music, face-painting, arts and crafts, and games. Two Trumbull High Students Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull High School students Jacob Fried and Nicholas Marchenko have been named semifinalists for the 2017 National Merit Scholarship contest. The two are among about 16,000 semifinalists who are competing for about 7,500 scholarships worth a total of $33 million.
