Greenburgh Approves First Comprehensive Plan GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Town Board adopted its first Comprehensive Plan at a recent meeting. The action follows an environmental review process and is based on a recommendation of consultant Ferrandino & Associates Inc., which determined the plan would not have negative environmental impacts, according to a release. Bicyclist Pinned Under Pickup Truck Suffers Critical Injuries In Danbury Updated: DANBURY, Conn. — A man on a bicycle suffered critical injuries after being hit and becoming pinned under a pickup truck in Danbury on Tuesday morning, according to police. The accident occurred at about 8:10 am. at North Street and Madison Avenue, police said. Police and fire units worked to free the bicyclist, who was then transported to Danbury Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. The crash is under investigation by the Danbury Police Department's Traffic Unit.

Man Attempts Armed Robbery At Gas Station In Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. -- A man tried to hold up a gas station in the pre-dawn hours Sunday in Yonkers, according to News 12 Westchester. The 1 a.m. attempted hold-up occurred at the Central Park Avenue BP gas station, said the report. An employee there told the news agency a gun wielding man approached the window, telling him to "open the door," News 12 Westchester said.
