Food Market, Wine Store Prepare For Mount Kisco Openings
MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- A specialty food market and wine store are poised to open in Mount Kisco.
Siegel Bros. Marketplace will open at 39 S. Moger Ave.in mid-November, while Siegel Bros. Wine & Spirits at 41 S. Moger Ave. is slated for a mid-December opening, the company announced.
Four generations
Siegel Bros. Marketplace is a fourth generation owned and operated specialty food market.
Abram Siegel first opened a kosher butcher shop in Woodbine, N.J., after fleeing Russia in 1912, said the release.

Food Bank Gobbling Up Thanksgiving Donations In Shelton, Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Turkeys and other supplies for Thanksgiving dinner may be dropped off at several Connecticut Food Bank sites, including Fairfield, Shelton and Stamford at certain dates in November.
The Food Bank relies on community food drives and special programs in November to stock its pantry for the holiday meals.
Media outlets and businesses have planned special drives to contribute food and money, said a release.
The Food Bank, via community-based food assistance programs, provides nutritious food to people in six Connecticut counties, including Fairfield.
