Wilton High Students Pay It Forward By Donating Tutoring Fees To Charity
WILTON, Conn. -- A unique tutoring service launched by Wilton High School junior Andrew Noonan at the start of the school year quickly drew many honor roll students to sign on to help.
The tutoring is not a job — The Learning Fund is run by volunteers. But it's not free. Ninety-percent of the parents pay the suggested donation of $30 per hour, but 90 percent of that money goes to charity, said Andrew.
In exchange, kids receive tutoring in math, English, reading, and writing, French and Spanish.
