New Fairfield Man Found Unconscious In Car Faces Drug Charges In Brookfield BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- About eight months after Brookfield police found him unconscious in his car with heroin and prescription drugs, a New Fairfield man is facing drug distribution charges, according to the News Times. Michael Martin, 29, was charged with illegal distribution of both narcotics and a controlled substance. Brookfield police found him May 16, 2015 with a burning cigarette in his mouth, the News Times reports. New Westchester County Study Shows High Cost Of Foreclosures A new report that looks at foreclosures in Westchester County towns shows how costly they can be for the entire community in terms of lowering property values and having to maintain vacant property, according to lohud.com.The report, from the state Senate Independent Democratic Conference and Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas, looked at 82 bank-owned properties in the county. Woman Stabbed In Stamford After Being Asked For Money STAMFORD, Conn. -- A woman reported being stabbed during an exchange with a man known to ask for money along Myrtle Avenue at the Interstate 95 overpass in Stamford on Saturday night, according to the Stamford Advocate. The woman was walking with her 4-year-old child Saturday when the man asked her for money, police told the Stamford Advocate.
