Y. -- Mount Pleasant Central School District officials are congratulating Westlake High School senior Will Sweeny on being named a finalist in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program.On a Facebook post, school officials said Sweeny is to compete with 15,000 other finalists nationwide for 2,500 Merit scholarship awards, as well as other corporate and university scholarships.
