Man Charged After Dover Sex Abuse Investigation
DOVER, N. Y. -- A 26-year-old Connecticut man is facing several sex abuse-related charges after New York State Police investigated a report of sexual contact with a 14-year-old in Dover, police said.Bruce A. Pierce, Jr. of New Britain, Conn., is charged with felony second-degree criminal sexual act, along with misdemeanor forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree sexual abuse, police said.

Stamford Man Accused Of Hitting Man, Woman With Bottle
STAMFORD, CONN. -- A 35-year-old Stamford man is facing assault charges after police said he hit a man and a woman over the head with a bottle at a Stamford's Hugo's Tacos this past weekend, the Stamford Advocate reports.
Samuel Mix Maldonado was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, along with disorderly conduct. He is being held on $75,000 bond, the Stamford Advocate says.
