Stamford Man, 60, Disputes Cruelty Charge In Dog's Demise
STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 60-year-old Stamford man is fighting animal cruelty charges after police said his dog was found in such terrible condition it had to be euthanized, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Robert Armstrong, who is free after posting $45,000 bond, said he would never be cruel to a dog, the Advocate said. He said he let his dog out on April 21, 2015, and it never returned, the Stamford Advocate says.
