Judge Finds Stamford Woman Guilty Of Stealing From Grandmother
STAMFORD, CONN. -- A judge found a Stamford woman guilty of first-degree larceny for taking at least $20,000 from her grandmother and putting it in her personal and business bank accounts, according to the Stamford Advocate.Judge Gary White rendered the decision Thursday, and ordered Heather Gansel, 38, to return for sentencing in January, when she faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, the Stamford Advocate said.
Gansel may have taken as much as $430,000 from her grandmother, the report said.
