Y. -- A Suffern parade was just one way Hudson Valley residents offered their thanks to the men and women of the U.S.armed forces on Veteras Day, according to News 12. Suffern's American Legion Post 859 coordinated the annual parade, which started at Village Hall and concluded at a monument to soldiers. Easton's New Police Chief Hopes For Closure In Navin Murder Case EASTON, Conn. — Police Chief Timothy Shaw said the Easton Police Department will stay on the case of the tragic murders of two residents to bring closure to their family, the Easton Courier reported. Shaw said Jeffrey and Jennifer Navin were reported missing Aug. 4, just three weeks after he was sworn in as chief, the Easton Courier said.
