Victoria Helstoski, 86, Wife Of Former U.S. Rep. And Patterson Native
PATTERSON, N.J. -- Victoria "Vicky" Helstoski, a Paterson native, longtime Rutherford resident, business owner and wife of late U.S. Rep. Henry Helstoski, died Thursday. She was 86.She most recently was living at the Waterview Center Nursing Home in Cedar Grove.
Born in Paterson to Italian immigrants Giuseppe Ubaldo and Emma Damiano, she went on to own Victoria's Dress Shop in Rutherford, then later worked for more than 20 years at Meadowlands Racetrack.

RIDGEWOOD, N. J. -- Barry Reid, a longtime Ridgewood resident, Canadian native and Wall of Fame athlete who went on to a chemical engineering career in New Jersey, died Nov. 10. He was 77.Born June 26, 1938, in St. Catharines, Ontario, to the late Lois and Andrew Reid, he was raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
He was inducted into the Niagra Falls Sports Wall of Fame for his role on the 1955 Stamford Collegiate Institute senior boys' basketball championship team.
