Woman Struck, Killed After Walking Onto Capital Region Freeway A woman was killed when she walked onto a freeway in the region and was struck by several cars during the morning commute. The Saratoga County incident happened at around 7:40 a.m. Monday, July 10, on I-87 in the town of Malta, according to New York State Police. Troopers said the woman parked her car on the shoulder before getting out and walking into the southbound lanes, where she was hit by multiple cars. Man Admits Causing Horrific Long Island Crash That Severed Woman's Legs, Injured 2 Others An accused drunk driver has admitted to being nearly three times the legal limit when he crashed into another car on a Long Island parkway and injured three others, including a woman who lost both of her legs. Kevin Rosas-Daqui, age 25, of Brooklyn, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular assault and other charges in Suffolk County Court on Monday, July 10. Robert Bush, age 17, was taken off life support on Friday, July 7, according to the Middle Country School District. Capital Region Woman, Dog Missing Over Week Spotted On Video In NYC Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a New York woman who has been missing for over a week. Alexandra McGuinness, age 42, of Albany, was last seen Wednesday, June 28, in Albany, near Grove and Helderberg avenues, according to Albany Police. Anthony Frisoni, age 89, was last seen at around 8 a.m. Friday, July 7, in Schenectady, on Van Vranken Avenue. He drives a black 2006 Buick Lucerne with New York plates SNK-949. Teens Saved From Near-Drowning On Long Island Sound After Boat Breaks Down Two teenagers are lucky to be alive after being pulled from Long Island Sound miles away from shore. ID Released For Customer Shot To Death Outside Capital Region Store Authorities have identified a man who was shot to death during a fight outside a store in the region. The shooting happened at around 5:20 p.m. Sunday, July 2, in Troy, at the Family Dollar store located near 102nd Street and 2nd Avenue. According to Troy Police, two customers got into an altercation in front of the store when one of them opened fire.
