Brett Hanson of Hen Hud gave the Sailors a 1-0 lead early in the third period, before the Pirates tied it up with 6:00 left on Ocasal's first score of the game.

Suffern High Girls Basketball Team Powers Past Horace Greeley CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -The Suffern High girls basketball team took a trip across the river to visit Horace Greeley Friday evening, with the Mounties walking off with a 42-28 victory. Suffern raced out to a 23-6 halftime lead and never looked back. Suffern (3-1) got 11 points from Brianna Witt, and Liz Trojan added nine points and 10 rebounds. Lauren Brown had 16 of her 21 points in the second half. "It was great to see Brianna Witt playing so well tonight," Suffern coach Rich Burger said. "She did a great job on both offense and defense." Greeley fell to 1-3.

Twelve Teams Descend On John Jay High For Patriot Wrestling Tournament EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. - Twelve High school teams - including seven Section 1 teams - visited John Jay High in East Fishkill Friday evening for the first round of the Patriot Wrestling Tournament. Section 1 schools represented were John Jay, Clarkstown South, Harrison, Fox Lane, Putnam Valley, Lakeland/Panas and John Jay EF. Out-of-section teams included Highland, Newburgh Free Academy, Middletown, New Paltz and Wallkill. The finals will be held Saturday evening.
