Beer Lovers Flock For Samples At Opening Of Black Rock's Aspetuck Brew Lab BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A happy crowd of beer lovers enjoyed samples as Peter Cowles and his wife Tara of Fairfield debuted their Aspetuck Brew Lab, a small brewery and tap room, at a grand opening and a ribbon-cutting Saturday in their location on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport's Black Rock neighborhood. Pastry Garden Serves Up Sweet, Freshly-Baked Surprises In Dutchess POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Pastry Garden has been serving up some of the sweetest pastries, pies, cakes and cookies in the Poughkeepsie area for the last 40 years. Joe Sigillo Making Mark As Nyack Public Schools' Director Of Athletics NYACK, N.Y. -- Nyack Director of Athletics Joe Sigillo - now in his seventh year at his position - is a homegrown, Rockland County product. Sigillo grew up in Clarkstown, and went to school at Clarkstown South (1993 grad), where he was an All-Section second-baseman/pitcher. Darien Teens Wrap Up Christmas With Fundraiser At The Depot DARIEN, Conn. — A group of kids turned out at the Depot, Darien's teen center, for the annual Wrap Up event Saturday, wrapping gifts as a part of a fundraiser and offering residents some helping hands with their Christmas preparations. The Wrap Up began on Saturday and was set to continue into the week. Ossining High Boys Basketball Team Hangs On To Beat Ketcham OSSINING, N.Y. -The Ossining High boys basketball team picked up a 55-48 win over Roy C. Ketcham in a game played Friday afternoon at Ossining High School. The Pride, which improved to 4-2, didn't score a point in the first quarter, and trailed 10-0 entering the second.
