Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Perdue Recalls Beef Wiener Products Over Misbranding Thousands of pounds of wiener products have been recalled, officials announced. Perdue Premium Meat Company, Inc. is recalling approximately 3,200 pounds of fully cooked beef wiener products sold under its Brookside Brand due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said. The product may actually contain smoked sausage, which contains milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the wiener product label, the recall notice said. ID Released For Mastic Man Fatally Stabbed During Fight At Shirley Motel The identity has been released for a man who was fatally stabbed at a Long Island motel. Suffolk County Police responded to the Shirley Motel, located at 681 Montauk Highway in Shirley after a 911 caller reported a man was stabbed during a fight in his motel room at approximately 5 p.m. Friday, June 30. Sobriety Checkpoint: 3 Charged During Overnight Detail In Port Jefferson Station Three people are facing charges after an overnight sobriety checkpoint at the start of the July 4th holiday on Long Island. Fatal Crash: 44-Year-Old ID'd As Victim After SUV Slams Into Embankment, CT State Police Say A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight in a residential neighborhood in Connecticut. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, July 1 in Litchfield County. A 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander was traveling northbound in North Canaan on Canaan Valley Road near Carlson Road when the SUV left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned, according to Connecticut State Police. The operator of the Outlander, Hartford County resident Deane William Moores, age 44, of Plainville, succumbed to injuries he suffered, said police. The crash is now under investigation.
