McDowell Observatory in Lyndhurst invites the public to view the night sky Wednesday nights through its state-of-the-art telescope. The observatory's "Open Public Viewing Nights Wednesdays" will take place from 7-10 p.m. Nov. 18 and 25, weather permitting.
