Route 52 Lanes In East Fishkill To Be Closed for Construction
EAST FISHKILL,N.Y. -- Motorists are advised that a lane closure with alternating traffic on Route 52 between Fishkill Hook Road and Corporate Park Drive in the town of East Fishkill is expected to occur on Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.The flow of traffic will be controlled by flaggers, and drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work-zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, particularly signs and flaggers. Westchester HS Senior Raffaela Cicchetti Wins Vocal Competition
EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Eastchester High School senior Raffaela Cicchetti recently won the grand prize of $12,000 in the William Haralson Vocal Competition at Performers Career Center in Manhattan.Cicchetti competed in the Scholarship Division, which consists of current students and emerging professionals between the ages of 13 and 50. The competition took place over the course of four days. She is the first competitor in the 12-year history of the event to receive a perfect score and the first to ever win under the age of 20. I-95 In Stratford To Close For Construction
STRATFORD, Conn. -- The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced construction activities along Interstate 95 northbound and southbound near Exit 30 in the town of Stratford will require the implementation of a full highway closure for intermittent periods of 10 minutes during the nighttime hours Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Dec.1.The construction is for the removal of existing and installation of new overhead signs and sign supports.
