Pearl River Woman Charged With Driving While Intoxicated PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- The Orangetown Police Department arrested Pearl River resident Patricia Scully on a charge of driving while intoxicated Thursday morning. Scully, 49, was involved in a car accident on Main Street in Pearl River. Responding officers conducted an investigation at the scene, during which Scully failed numerous field sobriety tests, police said. Scully was then arrested and taken to police headquarters where she failed, a breath test, according to police. Irvington Middle School Students Visit Jacob Burns To Become Movie Makers IRVINGTON, N.Y. -- Irvington Middle School students who are studying the art of making movies in their English language arts classes recently had the opportunity to learn from professionals. The sixth-graders went on a field trip to the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville on Nov. 18 and 19 to collaborate with staff members at the center.
