Wayne Student Builds Robotic Exoskeleton WAYNE, N.J. -- Wayne Hills student Anthony Tazzetto has built his third exoskeleton. An exoskeleton is a mechanical attachment that people can wear to aid them in lifting heavy things or assist them in moving if they are impaired or disabled. Tazzetto built this current design using two pneumatic pistons mounted to metal beams. The control system is mounted on an orange piece of 1/4-inch lexan. He hopes one day to perfect his inventions to help those in need, including his paralyzed uncle Randy.
