Hawthorne Volunteer Collects Food To Aid Hackensack Hospital Pantry HAWTHORNE, N.J. -- Hawthorne resident Ginger Pierro is collecting items to benefit Tomorrows Children's Fund food pantry at Hackensack University Medical Center. The pantry is looking for non-perishable food items, including canned fish, soup, pasta and beans, as well as toiletries, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant and more. Wilton's Troop 20 Delivers Holiday Baskets To Seniors WILTON, Conn. -- Boy Scout Troop 20 continued its annual tradition of delivering holiday baskets to Wilton seniors.Troop 20, led by Scoutmaster Dev Clifford, delivered the baskets to elderly residents of Wilton. The scouts delivered the baskets, spent time visiting with each person and spread some holiday cheer. The program was coordinated by Wilton Social Services, and the personalized gifts were prepared by members of the Wilton Congregational Church. Dr. Stephen Batter organized the delivery of the baskets for the troop.
