Shake It Up At Fairfield Family Fun Party
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- April Fool's Day comes a day early for a dance party Friday, March 31 at the Fairfield Museum.
Participants are asked to wear tie dye and retro to complement the new exhibition "Talking 'Bout My Generation: Fairfield in the 1960s and 1970s."
There will be crafts, stories, giveaways, contests, foolery and kid-friendly food and fun like the limbo and musical chairs.

Student Art And Poetry Shines Light On Black History In Stratford
STRATFORD, Conn.-- Elementary and middle schoolers were declared the winners in the Stratford Library and South End Community Center's 11th annual Black History Month Essay/Art Contest.
The winning poetry, art, and writing entries on a variety of personal, celebrity or fictional African-Americans were presented recently at a Stratford Town Hall celebration. The participating schools included: Franklin, Lordship, Whitney, Wilcoxson, Second Hill Lane, Johnson House, Nichols, St. James, and Flood and Wooster Middle Schools.

New Canaan Easter Egg Hunt Helps Out Children's Charities
NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- An Easter egg hunt is coming April Fool's Day to New Canaan that will benefit several local organizations.
The Saturday, April 1 hunt at Waveny Park will be kicked off by the Easter Bunny. Kids will then look for 10,000 eggs, including "golden" ones containing gift certificates to New Canaan Toy Store. Therapy Practice Opens In Darien To Address Growing Drug Addiction Problem
DARIEN, Conn. -- The growing problem of heroin addiction in Darien was partly the inspiration for opening satellite offices of Manhattan Marriage and Family Therapy in Darien and Stamford.
The practice will focus on addiction, prevention, and recovery, and help families heal, as well as couples therapy. Licensed marriage and family therapist Amanda Craig, PhD is the board approved Supervisor and Clinical Director at the Connecticut offices.
