Police: Stamford Man Attacked In His Apartment By Three Men With Hammer STAMFORD, Conn. — A hammer-wielding attacker and three others forced their way into a Stamford apartment on Connecticut Avenue and attacked the man who lived there, according to the Stamford Advocate. The man was hit in the head, back midsection in the attack, which occurred Saturday afternoon, The Advocate said. Stamford Woman Charged With Stabbing Boyfriend With Scissors STAMFORD, Conn. — A Stamford woman was charged with assault after attacking her boyfriend early Sunday at a Fairfield Avenue home with scissors, according to the Stamford Advocate. The woman, who tried to flee in her car, said she and her boyfriend had argued, police told the Advocate. The man became angry, and she said she pushed him and caused him to fall, the Advocate said.
