Y. -- A 32-year-old Wappingers Falls woman is facing larceny charges after New York State Police say she made charges on her credit card at a Connecticut casino then reported them as fraudulent charges to her credit card company.Stephanie L. Kelly-Sambuco is charged with felony third-degree grand larceny and felony first-degree falsifying business records, police said. Y. -- Authorities are investigating the case of a 51-year-old contractor found dead Monday in a City of Poughkeepsie House as a homicide, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.The Dutchess County Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy Tuesday for David R. Stratford Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect In Gift Card Case
STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford police are looking for a man they say used a stolen debit card to buy $300 in gift cards from a local restaurant, according to the Connecticut Post. Police released surveillance photos of the man they believe is responsible for buying the gift cards at about 11:20 a.m. June 10 at the 99 Restaurant in Stratford, the Post said. Moving Company Worker Faces Gun Theft Charge In Shelton
SHELTON, CONN. -- A 44-year-old Milford man facing a conspiracy charge after Shelton police say he and a fellow moving company employee worked together to take a gun from a person who hired the movers to help him relocate, according to the Shelton Herald. FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Connecticut State Police found pornographic videos of girls as young as 4 years old that were shared by WTNH meteorologist Justin Goldstein, who was arrested earlier this month at the TV station's studio in New Haven, NBC Connecticut reported. New City Hit Hard As Thousands Lose Power In Storms
NEW CITY, N. Y. -- No injuries were reported from serious storms throughout the Hudson Valley on Monday night, but they caused downed trees and power outages, especially in New City where thousands of homes lost power, according to News 12. Orange and Rockland Utilities officials said most of the 5,800 customers who lost power in New City had it restored overnight.
