Beekman Man Sentenced To 20 Years In Sexual Assault Case
DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- After noting the seriousness of the case, a Dutchess County judge sentenced a Beekman man to 20 years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a child, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.Prior to the sentencing of John Stiebritz on Friday morning, the victim, who was 12 at the time, spoke out in court about how the experience has changed her. Now of legal age, she uses a service dog to help her with stress and anxiety, The Poughkeepsie Journal reports.

ENGLEWOOD, N. J. -- Englewood Historical Society volunteers have so far found more than 160 musical entertainers and producers who have passed through town at one time or another, and they expect to discover more as they prepare for the historical society's newest exhibit, "Englewood: Gateway to Music," which opens on Sunday, Oct. 9.The exhibit, featuring photos, record albums, musical instruments and other items, kicks off with a reception from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 9 at the historical society's Mackay Park Gatehouse, 130 W.
