Motorists Alerted To Lane Closures In Pearl River PEARL RIVER, N. Y. -- Rockland County officials are warning motorists that, starting Friday, road construction will force lane closures on Veterans Memorial Drive in Pearl River.The underground work will be done between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Nov. 12, and will likely mean closing lanes. Officials said they plan to keep one lane open in each direction, and that they don't think the work will require full road closures.

He was 91.Born March 3, 1924 in Philadelphia, to the late Nathan and Anna (Wasserman) Parris, he was married to Joan Weisman until her death in 2013. He previously was married to Nina (Gumpert) Parris. Parris, who also lived in Ann Arbor, Mich., and Millbrook, attended Temple University and the University of Michigan before serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.
