Garfield Group Starts Teen Drinking Awareness Campaign GARFIELD, N.J. -- Members of Garfield Prevention Coalition kicked off its Parents Who Host public awareness campaign recently by putting stickers on pizza boxes to remind parents of the dangers of providing alcohol to minors.The campaign is intended to increase awareness among parents of social hosting laws and underage drinking laws. Wayne Township Helps Mold Young Minds With Ceramic Classes WAYNE TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Winter ceramics for kids is being offered by Wayne Township's parks and recreation department starting Jan. 30.Open to children in grades 1 and up, the class is 10 weeks. It will be most Saturdays through April 30 at Kilroy Park, 6 Concord Place.  Two classes will be offered, 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Paints and firing are part of the $15 registration fee.  Supply kits for $10, including brushes, cleaning tool and sponge will be available. Y. -- As he awaits sentencing for stealing copper bars from cell tower sites in Putnam County, a Patterson man faces similar charges in other Westchester County towns, according to lohud.com.Brian Windover, 38, pleaded guilty to August burglary charges of taking the copper from cell tower sites in Patterson and Kent.
