Employees Find Man Dead Outside Long Island Restaurant Employees arriving to work found a man dead outside a Long Island restaurant, authorities said. Medics in Riverhead were called at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, with reports of an unconscious man who was seated against an exterior wall outside Express Deli & Café on Osborn Avenue, according to Riverhead Town Police. When officers arrived, they found the man not breathing and without a pulse, and began performing CPR. The man was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Dating App Nightmare: Man Rapes, Assaults Woman From Capital Region, Police Say A 24-year-old man is facing multiple violent felonies for allegedly raping and physically assaulting a woman after the two met online, authorities said. Saratoga County resident Andrew Cosme, of Clifton Park, was arrested following an investigation by the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office and a grand jury indictment. Seen Him? Police Issue Alert For Missing Man From Capital Region Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man from the region who was reported missing. Glenn Crews, age 26, of Greene County, may be in the Hudson area in Columbia County, according to a Facebook post from the Hudson City Police Department on Wednesday, Feb. 15. Residents Chase Early-Morning Burglar From Long Island Home, Police Say A 56-year-old burglar was chased away by residents after breaking into a Long Island home and stealing belongings, authorities said. The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, in Southampton, at a home located on Big Fresh Pond Lane, according to Southampton Town Police. Mountain Rescue: Rangers Carry Injured Hiker Mile To Safety In Capital Region Forest rangers carried an injured hiker a mile to safety after the hiker suffered an ankle injury in the Catskill Mountains.
