Person Struck By Car Near Lirr Station A person is hospitalized after being struck by a car near a Long Island Rail Road station. Emergency crews were called just before 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, after a pedestrian was struck by the Wyandanch LIRR station near Station Drive and Straight Path, according to Suffolk County Police.
