Brogan grew up in Pennsylvania, and attended North Hampton High School, where she played volleyball and softball, and was also part of the swim team. She went to college at William Patterson University in New Jersey, where she continued to play volleyball and softball. Brogan is now in her 13th year as director of athletics at Clarkstown North, where she is also a teacher.

Pawling Keeps It Close Against Red-Hot Brewster In Ice Hockey BREWSTER, N.Y. -The Pawling High ice hockey team made its way down to the Brewster Ice Arena Friday night to take on one of the section's hotter teams, the Brewster Bears. On the ice, Pawling kept things close, but in the end it was Brewster that walked off the ice with a 3-1 victory. Travis Barry stopped 29 shots for Pawling, which fell to 6-13 with the loss. Sean Reynolds scored a goal for the Tigers, assisted by James Comerford and Nic Merendino. Brewster picked up its 17th win in 20 tries, leaving the Bears at 17-2-1.
