Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The single-vehicle crash happened in Hartford County just after 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23 near the Bristol/Farmington town line on Stevens Street in Bristol. 5 Hospitalized After Crash That Caused Taconic Parkway Closure Five people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash that caused the closure of a stretch of the Taconic State Parkway. It happened in Dutchess County on Friday, Nov. 24 on the northbound side in La Grange. Woman Dies From Injuries After Being Struck By Vehicle In West Hempstead A Long Island woman who was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle has died. The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 in West Hempstead. The 83-year-old was walking eastbound on Hempstead Turnpike crossing Nassau Boulevard when she was struck by a 2016 Dodge Ram being operated by a 36-year-old man making a left-hand turn onto Nassau Boulevard, Nassau County Police said. Man, Woman Nabbed After Stealing Vehicle With Service Dog Inside In Stamford: Police A man and woman were apprehended after stealing a vehicle with a service dog inside in Fairfield County. Just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 in Stamford, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on the west side of the city.
