Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Wrong-Way, Drunk Driver Nabbed After Chase On Long Island Expressway In Suffolk: Police A man is facing a host of charges after police say he drove the wrong way on the Long Island Expressway while intoxicated. Suffolk County Police Highway Patrol officers responded to a 911 report of a box truck swerving across the roadway as it traveled eastbound in the westbound lanes of the LIE near Exit 48 at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5. Trio Nabbed After Armed Robbery Outside Inwood Deli Three suspects are in custody after an armed robbery outside a Long Island deli. The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8 in Inwood. A 32-year-old man was exiting El Brother Deli & Grocery located at 18 Mott Ave. when he was approached by a group of men brandishing knives and a hammer demanding his money, Nassau Couty Police said. Covid-19: US Sees Surge In Hospitalizations, Deaths; Take These Steps, CDC Director Says COVID-19 is on the rise just in time for the height of the holiday season. "COVID is starting to increase again after being stable for the last few weeks," Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Mandy Cohen said this week. Nationwide, in the latest data for the week ending Saturday, Dec. 2, there was a 17.6 percent rise in COVID hospitalizations (a total of 22,513) and 25 percent increase in deaths. ID Released For Mamaroneck Resident Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train In Port Chester The identity has been released of a person who was killed after being struck by a train at a station in New York. The incident happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 in Westchester County when the man trespassing on tracks at the Port Chester station was struck by the Stamford-bound Metro-North train on Track 3, according to an MTA spokesperson. 42-Year-Old NY Woman Believed To Be Traveling Has Been Missing For 2 Weeks A 42-year-old New York woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in trying to find her. Gabrielle B. Becker was last seen in her Delaware County hometown of Roxbury (outlined in red in the image above) on Friday, Nov. 24, according to New York State Police.
